Battle Queue

The Battle Queue is a matchmaking system that allows you to battle against other players. It uses the standard Set Level 100 ruleset and you must have a full team of Pokemon to join. Participants of ranked matches will be given a rating, increasing or decreasing as you win or lose, which will determine your ranking on the in-game leaderboard.

It can be accessed by clicking the Battle Queue icon in the user interface alongside Settings.

Official Ruleset

In order to keep your rating from decaying (falling) over time, you are required to do at least 20 rated battles each week. For each battle you don't play, you will lose 5 points that week. For example, if you only play 12 games in a week, you will lose 40 (8 * 20) rating. You cannot drop below 1000 rating.

This decay happens weekly on Monday at 02:00 UTC.

Battling in the Battle Queue will reward you with Competitive Points. These can be exchanged for rewards in the Prize Shop, located in the Battle Queue UI.

2-10 Competitive Points for winning (depending on rank; 2 for unranked, 4 for Bronze, 6 for Silver, 8 for Gold, 10 for Master).

1 Competitive Point for losing (does not include timing out or disconnecting).

1 Competitive Point if the battle lasts 20+ turns. Doubles if the battle lasts 40+ turns.

The top 200 ranked players receive daily rewards at 01:00 UTC:

• Rank 1 receives 50 Competitive Points, 40 PvP Tokens, 200 credits
• Rank 2 receives 45 Competitive Points, 35 PvP Tokens, 100 credits
• Rank 3 receives 40 Competitive Points, 30 PvP Tokens, 75 credits
• Rank 4-10 receives 35 Competitive Points, 25 PvP Tokens, 50 credits
• Rank 11-50 receives 30 Competitive Points, 20 PvP Tokens, 10 credits
• Rank 51-100 receives 25 Competitive Points, 15 PvP Tokens
• Rank 101-200 receives 20 Competitive Points, 10 PvP Tokens
